What is GoOutsi.de ?
It's a social networking site for outdoor enthusiasts that helps them find places to enjoy their passions and share them with friends, family and other enthusiasts.
GoOutsi.de was initially developed by a five man team in 24hrs at the Hack4Reno civic hackathon, organized by the City of Reno and the Reno Collective (a local co-working space for tech minded people). Check out the initial build here.
There are many different ways to use GoOutsi.de, below are a few examples:
Find Locations
Search our website for new places or use your mobile location to find places near you! Also see locations your friends have visited.
Tag Locations
Go outside and find new locations. When you do, use the mobile app to tag the location. Then when you get home, use the tag to create a new location to share.
Invite Friends
Create a friends list. Break it up into your bike buddies and your basketball buddies. Let them know when you're going outside!
